Campus Leadership Searches: Provost and Vice Chancellor for Advancement
Provost
UIC has launched a national search for its next Provost, the university’s chief academic officer. The Provost will play a central role in shaping a student-centered learning environment, advancing interdisciplinary collaboration, expanding research, and supporting faculty and staff. This leader will also be instrumental in elevating UIC’s academic and research profile as one of the nation’s top public research universities.

Vice Chancellor for Advancement
UIC is also conducting a national search for its next Vice Chancellor for Advancement. Reporting directly to the Chancellor and serving on the senior leadership team, this individual will lead the university’s philanthropic and alumni engagement strategy. Key responsibilities include fundraising, alumni relations, and building partnerships to secure resources that support student scholarships, faculty excellence, research innovation, and community impact.
